01 / THE REASONING
Why this made the selection.
- Pairs a bounded workflow with an offline Python checker and explicitly synthetic example inputs.
- Created for recurring evidence and comparison failures: missing facts remain unknown and every conclusion keeps its scope.
- It names a concrete failure mode: Detect cold starts: Identify outliers exceeding $3 \times p_{50}$ indicating un-warmed GPU worker allocation.
02 / THE REVIEW RECORD
What we actually inspected.
Source review has boundaries.
A clear record is more useful than a “safe” badge.

Our findings
- First-party resource authored by Undominated.ai; this is our own verification record, not an independent endorsement.
- The download preserves the complete source and supporting files. Its manifest hashes identify the exact bytes.
- One input rule the file states is: `endpoint`: string (e.g. "https://api.together.xyz/v1/chat/completions").
- One condition that blocks a pass is: Jitter ratio ({jitter_ratio}) exceeds maxJitterRatio ({max_jitter}).
Not established by this review
- Model compliance with these instructions on arbitrary tasks
- Native integration in every agent host
- Public GitHub source identity
- Remote installation through the standard Skills CLI
- The new npm resource CLI installation
The review applies to the material and revision named here. A newer upstream release can change its behavior.
03 / PUT IT TO WORK
Add a skill to your workflow.
- Download the complete bundle from https://undominated.ai/resources/skills/undominated-ttft-jitter-audit/bundle.zip and extract it into a new directory.
- Place the extracted directory at .agents/skills/undominated-ttft-jitter-audit/ or your host's documented skills directory. Preserve SKILL.md, scripts, examples and licence files together.
- Run the documented synthetic example from the skill directory with Python 3.10 or later before using your own evidence.
Before you start
- An Agent Skills compatible host
- Python 3.10 or later for the optional checker

# Time-To-First-Token (TTFT) Jitter Audit
Audit Time-To-First-Token (TTFT) variance, queuing delays, cold-start penalization, and tail latency distributions (p50, p95, p99) across serverless inference endpoints.
## Workflow
1. Ingest a series of measured request latency observations (milliseconds from HTTP request dispatch to receipt of the first SSE chunk).
2. Compute statistical percentiles:
- Median TTFT ($p_{50}$)
- Tail latency ($p_{95}$ and $p_{99}$)
- Jitter ratio: $J = p_{99} / p_{50}$
3. Detect cold starts: Identify outliers exceeding $3 \times p_{50}$ indicating un-warmed GPU worker allocation.
4. Verify compliance against application SLA latency ceilings.
## Synthetic Input Format
JSON object with:
- `schemaVersion`: 1
- `endpoint`: string (e.g. "https://api.together.xyz/v1/chat/completions")
- `model`: string
- `samplesMs`: list of positive numbers (at least 5 samples)
- `assertions`:
- `maxP50Ms`: optional number
- `maxP95Ms`: optional number
- `maxP99Ms`: optional number
- `maxJitterRatio`: optional decimal string (e.g. "3.50")
## Exit Codes
- `0`: Valid observations and all latency assertions satisfied.
- `1`: SLA assertion failure (p50, p95, p99 or jitter ratio exceeded).
- `2`: Malformed input or path traversal violation.
## Verification
```sh
python3 scripts/check.py examples/synthetic.json
```
